Internet Safety Tips

• Kids should refrain from giving out their personal information online. 

• Stay away from Spam/Spim sites and emails.

• Be aware of the sites your kids/students are visiting.

• Pay attention to website credibility and appropriate nature before visiting any sites.  

• Pornography, hate sites, cyber bullying, and chatting with strangers are now common forms of internet use.  

• People on line may not be who they say they are!

• Sexual predators are hugely common right now!

• Pay attention to who your kids are chatting with.

• As an educator we need to know what our students are up to on the internet and we need to educate them about the dangers of internet use. 

• Not enough kids discuss internet safety with their parents!
